With a staggering 541 films to his credit, including iconic ones like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) and A Wednesday (2008), Kher recalls valuable advice from the late Manmohan Desai. Desai encouraged him to stay busy and not take himself too seriously, a mantra that has guided him throughout his career.
Venturing into Western cinema with movies like Bend It Like Beckham (2002) and Silver Linings Playbook (2012), Kher faced challenges due to his Hindi medium background. However, he embraced diverse roles, breaking the stereotype of typecasting and proving his versatility.
As Kher continues to evolve and excel, his journey serves as an inspiration to many aspiring actors, showcasing the power of perseverance and dedication in the ever-changing landscape of Bollywood.
