Local Court Refused Bail to JC Prabhakar Reddy and His Son

A local court in Ananthapur, AP has refused to grant bail to JC Prabhakar Reddy and his son JC Asmith Reddy in connection with the alleged forgery of documents case related to JC Travels. Both father and son were accused as no. 2 and no. 6 respectively in the chargesheet and they were handed over to police for 14-day judicial remand. However, instead of Ananthapur jail, they were transferred to Kadapa Jail as Ananthapur is in Corona affected list of Redzone districts. After conducting medical examinations as per the process both of them were shifted to Kadapa Jail.

The AP police so far had registered 27 FIRs against the father and son. As many as 154 buses were seized by the Road Transport authorities and also few Lorries. These vehicles were purchased in Nagaland and re-registration of these vehicles was done in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka states.

It has come to known that the Accused A6 Asmith Reddy already filed complaint with DGP of Nagaland to investigate that his company was cheated in the process purchase of vehicles with forged documents. JC Diwakar Reddy has alleged that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is indulging vendetta politics by harassing opposition leaders. It may be noted that late CM YS Rajshekar Reddy, Father of Jagan Mohan Reddy, Government also filed cases against Margadarshi chit fund company of Eenadu Group, which is seen closer to TDP.
