Leaders In TRS Donating AmbulancesJul 25, 2020 08:48 AM
Many Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders are donating ambulances in various districts to help people amid the pandemic. KT Rama Rao the IT minister who celebrated his 44th birthday yesterday had donated six ambulances to the state government hospitals. The moment the IT minister donated ambulances several MLA’s pooled in and the result was 100 ambulances for the state Government. It was indeed a wonderful gesture by the IT minister through this gesture he encouraged other party leaders to donate. This is perhaps the first positive gesture from the state government after the Covid-19 crisis even though it is a voluntary individual contribution. It is truly a sigh of relief for the citizen of Telangana after the State Government took a series of decision which were disastrous.
It is indeed great news and a fantastic initiative to help the poor people. After all the criticism against the state government this act of KTR which seems voluntary maybe to an extent help in redeeming the party’s dwindling image. The ambulances would be of great use in rural areas.
Health Minister Etela Rajender said, “These ambulances can be used as mini hospitals. every ambulance will have provision for a ventilator and oxygen. We will use them to test for Covid-19 too.”
The list of the leaders who donated the ambulances is huge it includes ministers and legislators. Ambulances will be well equipped and available in 32 districts.
