Kambala Jogulu is the current Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Rajam Constituency under the YSRCP. With a substantial political career, Jogulu has been a prominent figure in Andhra Pradesh’s legislative landscape, known for his electoral victories and service to the community.

Political Career

Jogulu’s political journey commenced with the Praja Rajyam Party (PRP), where he secured a significant victory in the 2004 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, becoming an MLA with an impressive majority of 27,923 votes. His switch to the YSRCP in subsequent elections marked another phase of success, winning in both 2014 and 2019 with remarkable majorities of 69,192 and 83,561 votes, respectively.

Personal Life

Born in 1968 to Gavarayya (Late) in Saradhi village of Rajam Mandal in Srikakulam District, Jogulu’s educational journey includes completing S.S.C from Municipal High School, Srikakulam, in 1984. He further pursued B.A from Govt Arts College, Srikakulam, in 1991 and earned an LLB from ALL Saints Christian Law College, Vishakapatnam, Andhra University. These academic achievements showcase his commitment to education alongside his political career.

2004: Kambala Jogulu wins the MLA seat in Andhra Pradesh elections under the Praja Rajyam Party.
2009: Joins the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) for continued political contributions.
2014: Secures the MLA position in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections under the YSRCP banner.
2019: Emerges victorious again in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, maintaining a consistent winning streak.
