ITBP performs Yoga on Himalayan peaks

21st June is celebrated as the International Yoga Day. While the whole nation celebrated the Yoga Day at their homes, the ITBP personnel celebrated the day between the Himalayan ranges. ITBP or the Indo-Tibetan Border Police have been deployed at the Indo-China Border. However, they performed yoga at 18,800 feet on the Himalayan peaks. This was the 6th International Yoga Day and the ITBP personnel did not step back in performing yoga at the snow-covered peaks in Ladakh near the India-China border.

The personnel being referred to as the "Himveers" performed Yoga on different heights of the Himalayan ranges. The heights varied from 18,800 feet in Sikkim Himalayas to 18,000 feet in Khardung La of Ladakh.
