It is Hashtag '200DaysOfAmaravatiProtests'Jul 04, 2020 05:56 AM
The conundrum over Andhra Pradesh capital is creating a huge uproar among the farmers of Amravati. So far there had been funds allotted for the new capital but there is still Suspense Over New Andhra Pradesh Capital. So far it is going according to the whims and fancies of the ruling party. The theory of three capitals seems preposterous but we are still waiting for a rational explanation. However, one cannot expect rationality from the ruling party which is high on power. The narcissist attitude is very much visible and there is no suspense in how things will pan out on social media and the Great Andhra website. So far the news item shows Pawan Kalyan praises Jagan and Raghurama Krishnam Raju Rebellion. Gold Andhra had rebutted the condescending article on Pawan Kalyan in Great Andhra through this article (“What is Your Problem Great Andhra?”)
Pawan Kalyan compliments to Jagan Mohan Reddy brought him in good books otherwise the only interest for Great Andhra was his spiritual retreat. The issue related to Raghurama Krishnam Raju is blurred and the MP is hounded every day. He is considered a ‘Rebel’. The choice of words to describe dissident behavior shows the highhandedness of the ruling party. It indicates that there is no space for democracy and freedom of speech within the party and outside for the citizens.
Amid this chaos and highhandedness, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu is running a Hashtag campaign '200DaysOfAmaravatiProtests.'
The former CM showed his gratitude towards the Amravati farmers and appreciated the fortitude of thousands of farmers who are protesting for the last 200 days. He added there is a lot at stake for the hapless farmers who are crushed under the juggernaut of this totalitarian party.
Chandrababu Naidu said, “The fight will continue and the Telugu Desam will march shoulder to shoulder with the protesting farmers until Amaravati is reinstated as the only capital just as the Chief Minister promised in the assembly when he was in the opposition.”
He lauded Amravati farmers who voluntarily gave their 33,000 acres of land for the capital city. However, the mystery over the capital lingers and the authoritarian nature of YSRCP will create more chaos.
