In Real Politik what is there to ComplainJul 23, 2020 02:23 PM
When things do not go according to the YSRCP they dismiss it as sour grapes; their media mouthpiece Great Andhra does everything in the world to pacify them, and ridicule anything or anyone that becomes a hurdle. The reinstating of IAS officer Nimmagadda is one such instance which did not go well for the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh. The moment he was reinstated Great Andhra started whining and began the usual game of taking pot-shot on the IAS officer. But in this case, he was reinstated by Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan; therefore YSRCP had to silently bite the dust.
They chided TDP party because the IAS officer is supposed to be from Naidu segment. This reflects YSRCP dubious nature because who doesn’t know the YSRCP and Great Andhra’s affiliation towards Reddy’s. In fact, the “3 Reddy” article on Great Andhra was a shameless display of identity politics. The picture of a bike on Jagan Army twitter with a decal sticker saying ‘Reddy’ is a reflection of oligarchic mindset.
Their unnecessary criticism on TDP makes no sense because the IAS officer was reinstated on the orders of the Governor; hence there is no caste politics involved. But getting riled over TDP MLA shows their small-mindedness.
Apart from TDP, they are also angry over a tweet by their own MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju who said, “Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh Shri Biswabhushan Harichandan ji has given a good direction to the state government to follow the Hon’ble High Court order. I’m sure our Government will not challenge our Hon’ble Governor’s direction/order and allow Shri Ramesh Kumar to function as SEC.”
The reaction by MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju is quite obvious as YSRCP MLA’s are deliberately harassing and accusing him of criminal behavior. The estranged MLA is taking a sweet revenge.
