The 3rd Hockey India Women’s Championship kicks off in New Delhi on November 15, featuring eight teams divided into two pools. Running until November 21, each team in the league stage competes within their pool, with the top two advancing to the Semi-Finals on November 20.
The Final and 3rd/4th place play-off follow on November 21. Notable players include Bansari Solanki (Sports Authority of India) and Deep Grace Ekka (Railway Sports Promotion Board). Ekka sees the tournament as a platform for new talent, emphasizing the chance for youngsters to showcase skills alongside experienced players. Vandana Katariya aims for higher domestic hockey standards, benefitting the national team’s growth.
