Hockey India has unveiled the Junior Men’s Hockey Team for the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup Malaysia 2023, led by Captain Uttam Singh and Vice-Captain Araijeet Singh Hundal. India, placed in Pool C with Canada, Korea, and Spain, kicks off their campaign on December 5th against Korea, followed by clashes with Spain and Canada.
The Quarter-Finals are scheduled for December 12th, the Semifinals on December 14th, and the Grand Final on December 16th. Coach CR Kumar emphasizes the team’s excitement and confidence, aiming for victory. The squad features experienced players in key roles, drawing inspiration from the 2016 Junior World Cup-winning team.
