Famous eatery in Hyderabad shut

A popular eating joint in Hyderabad got shut as the owner tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Gokul Chat is a famous eatery in Hyderabad. The eatery was in news back in 2007 when bomb explosions and terror attack rocked the city. It is situated in Koti near Sultan Bazaar. There is already an order to close the joint by the municipal authorities. Moreover, around 20 employees working at the chat shop have been sent to quarantine.

The officials of the health department have been searching for the people who visited Gokul Chat within the last three days and ate snacks there. This was done when the owner of the chat shop was tested positive for COVID-19. The owner of the shop is a 72-year-old man who started to show symptoms of the pandemic disease. Later, his sample was collected for the test and the confirmation of him being positive came to limelight on Tuesday.

It is being stated that the owner got infected from one of the family members who was running the shop after lockdown relaxation. The total tally of COVID-19 patients in Telangana rose to 5,193 on Monday with 219 fresh cases.
