Famous Bollywood Music Director Dies of Coronavirus

The Bollywood is in huge shock with the demise of singer and composer Wajid Khan of music director duo Sajid-Wajid. The cheerful composer who is just aged 42 is consumed by the dreadful Coronavirus who is also suffering from a kidney ailment. He died in the wee hours on Monday due to cardiac arrest. Wajid has undergone kidney transplantation in the recent past and was shifted to ICU in a hospital in Mumbai when complications arose.

Salman Khan has introduced the duo to Bollywood through his film ‘Pyar Kiya Toh DarnaKya’ in the year 1998. Since then, Sajid-Wajid gave many musical chartbusters to Salman in the films like ‘Garv’, ‘Partner’, ‘Wanted’, Dabangg’ series, and ‘EkTha Tiger’. Wajid also has sung the famous ‘Soni De Nakhre’ in Partner movie which also starred Govinda.

Wajid Khan was on a ventilator for four days before succumbing to the virus and various other complications. The Bollywood film fraternity is left devastated with the news with the feeling that the composer has gone too soon. Many celebrities took to twitter paying rich tributes to Wajid Khan by stating that it is a huge loss to the Hindi film industry.

Actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, SonamKapoor shared their memories with the music composer. Priyanka stated that she always remembers the cheerful smile of the young composer. Meanwhile, actor VarunDhawan shared the association of the composer with his father David Dhawan posting a picture. Similarly, many actors like AnupamKher, AbhishekBachchan, SatishKaushik, RiteishDeshmukh, MallikaSherawat, etc paid tributes to Wajid Khan.

Wajid Khan’s contemporaries like Vishal Dadlani and Shankar Mahadevan expressed that they are heartbroken and unable to come to terms with the sad news. "WajidVil always love, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your beautiful soul rest in peace ...” tweeted Salman Khan on the demise of his favorite music director with whom he shared a great rapport since he introduced the duo to Bollywood.
