Coronavirus Cases in Guntur Mirchi YardJun 30, 2020 09:15 AM
Day by day the coronavirus is spreading in the state of Andhra Pradesh with the latest numbers crossing a 10,000 barrier. Currently, there are Coronavirus cases that have come to light at the Guntur Mirchi yard. Traders and farmers are worried as all three cases are recorded in the market yard.
Guntur Mirchi Yard is the biggest Mirchi yard of South India which supplies Mirchi to all the locations across south India. Because of these recent cases, the Mirchi yard is now shut down to save it from further contamination. Regularly 1000's of farmers keep visiting this yard for trading, selling their Mirchi produce.
Immediately authorities have put up barricades to stop people from entering or coming out of Mirchi yard. Saturday and Sunday have been declared a holiday. After carefully monitoring the situation authorities informed that they may consider opening the yard on Monday.
Meanwhile, the entire Mirchi yard will be sanitized by sodium hypochlorite. A drive has been launched to identify those farmers who came in contact with the infected traders to quarantine them. They gave a call to farmers to come forward in case they have met these traders recently.
