Umapathi Rao, the heir of Domakonda Samsthan near Kamareddy has passed away on 27th May. He is also the grandfather of Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela. Umapathi was a former IAS officer as well as a renowned Urdu poet. His last rites are conducted today at Domakonda.Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Upasana Konidela attended this family ritual.

When the last journey of Mr. Rao was started at Domakonda fort, few unwanted guests greeted the trio along with others. Those guests are nothing but a swarm of stinging honey bees. The insects which were present all of a sudden at the venue created panic among the guests. Hence, everyone ran for a cover while few were attempting to keep away the bees from stinging.

The security guards of the star’s family drove away the honeybees with handkerchiefs and towels. Chiranjeevi, Charan, and Upasana were guarded safely and were guided to safety unharmed. The exact reason for the sudden approachof these insects is not known. But it is a very natural phenomenon for the bees when their hive is disturbed either through fire or by some other means.

Chiranjeevi and his family drove back to Hyderabad safely after the final rituals of Umapathi Rao. Sources say that at least four persons are reportedly suffered the sting bites from the bees. Fortunately, no one is seriously injured in the incident. So, it is a huge sigh of relief not only for the mega fans but also for the Kamineni family too as everything went on a smooth note during the period of their personal turmoil.
