CBN Questions Jagan Government on '108' Ambulances ContractJun 24, 2020 07:24 AM
Even after receiving legal notices from secretaries of Civil Supplies and Mining secretaries regarding the comments he made on Jagan's Governments corruption in those departments, Chandrababu Naidu is in no mood to reduce his attack on irregularities and gross violations of rules.
In the face of arrest of his party members and intimidation by Jagan's Government Chandrababu naidu made fresh round of allegations on the YSRCP led AP Government. He demand the Government to come clear whether contracts with regards to '108' ambulances were made with Vijaysai Reddy's Son-in-Law or not. It was a straight yes or no question.
Speaking on the same issue previous day TDP spokes person K. Pattabhiram presented the their view in unambiguous terms. As per his details a contract was signed with BVG-UKSAS Emergency Medical Services to run & maintain 108 services from December 13, 2017, to December 12, 2020, for a period of three years.
Even then, breaching the existing contract the YSRCP government brought in GO116 in the middle of contract period to give the maintenance contract to Ram Prasad Reddy's Aurobindo Foundation. The State Government also issued GO 105 on 5.9.2019 to add 432 new ambulances. Pattabhiram demanded Government to lanuch an enquiry to come clean in this issue.
However, instead of facing the allegations and giving their version of change in contract Jagan's Government sent police to Pattabhiram's house to curb "Law and Order" issues.
