Former MLA and YCP leader Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy is facing further legal complications after being arrested in connection with an EVM vandalism case. Macharla police have recently registered another case under IPC section 323 following a complaint by Telugu Youth Palnadu District Secretary Komara Siva. A video of Reddy allegedly being beaten while being transported to the Macharla court has gone viral on social media, according to the complaint.
The incident stems from Reddy’s alleged intrusion into the Palvaigetu polling center on May 13 during the general elections, where he is accused of damaging an Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). Reports indicate that he also engaged in physical altercations, including an attack on a TDP leader who attempted to intervene, and verbal abuse directed at a woman present at the scene.

Reddy had been the focus of four different cases pertaining to these incidents before his most recent arrest. He petitioned the court four times for anticipatory bail, but each time it was denied, leading to his eventual arrest. After that, he was taken to Nellore Central Jail and put under arrest.
This latest legal development adds to the ongoing challenges faced by Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, highlighting the complex and contentious nature of the allegations against him.
