Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal filed a petition in Rouse Avenue Court, seeking insulin provision in Tihar jail. He requests daily 15-minute video consultations in his doctor’s and his wife’s presence. Fluctuating blood sugar poses health risks, reports Live Law.
Meanwhile, Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena ordered the prison director general to submit a factual report on AAP’s allegations. Minister Atishi claimed a plot to harm Kejriwal by denying insulin and home-cooked food in jail, a charge denied by prison authorities.
Saxena expressed concern over the allegations and assured no negligence regarding the CM’s health. Atishi asserted that Kejriwal’s insulin requests were denied, leading to dangerously high blood sugar levels. She alleged a conspiracy to harm him.
