Plans to recall 20.19 lakh pass books with Jagan’s picture printed on them that were given out by the government have been made public. These Pattadaru pass books will be replaced under the new ‘Jagananna Land Title’ initiative, reverting to the traditional design and featuring an official seal. Minister Satyaprasad held discussions on this matter with Chief Commissioner of the Land Administration Department, Sai Prasad, and Commissioner of the Survey Department, Siddharth Jain, recently.
Prior to the enforcement of the election code in the state, the Jagan administration had already issued 20.19 lakh land title deeds, with an additional lakh slated for distribution. Given this background, existing pass books will be withdrawn, and new ones will be introduced with official endorsements.
In addition, the previous administration placed 74.65 lakh stones featuring Jagan’s likeness all over agricultural areas. These stones will be demolished and replaced with newly created survey markers by the current administration.
