Bala Krishna to Skip TFI meeting with AP CM JaganJun 06, 2020 04:19 PM
Recently, the Telugu Film Industry has held talks with the Telangana Government over resuming the shootings and opening cinema halls. The producers and directors led by Chiranjeevi have met Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and CM KCR also. Balakrishna comments on these meetings created a huge controversy in the industry. The actor has openly expressed his resentment for not inviting him for these talks.
Now, the Tollywood producers have decided to meet AP CM Jagan also. Producers Council Chairman C Kalyan has briefed the media about the meeting. He said that Chiranjeevi has taken the appointment of YS Jagan to meet him at 3:00 pm on the 9th of June. To avoid further misunderstandings, the industry bigwigs ensured that Balakrishna is also invited. Kalyan clarified that he personally invited Balaiah to the meeting but he is unable to attend due to personal reasons.
Balakrishna celebrates his 60th birthday on June 10th. Hence, ‘Shashti Purthi’ celebrations are planned by his family members in Hyderabad. Therefore, the actor has clarified to Kalyan that it is not feasible for him to attend the meeting which takes place just a day before the occasion. And also it is not possible for the star as he has to take part in early morning prayers and rituals too the very next day. Other than that there seems to be no other big reason for Balaiah to skip the meet with AP CM because it is for the sake of Tollywood.
At the same time, it is also not known whether Chiranjeevi attends the meeting or not. But as Kalyan said he was the one who took the appointment of AP CM, the chances are more likely that the Megastar might be present in the meet. Anyways, let’s hope that the talks turn out to be fruitful and the industry gets back to its work as soon as possible.
