Amrutha’s Letter on RGV’s ‘Murder’ is Fake! Than who wrote it?Jun 24, 2020 09:12 AM
Director Ram GopalVarma has announced ‘Murder’ movie last evening by releasing its first look poster. Ramu stated that this film will be made based on the sensational true-life saga of Maruthi Rao, Amrutha, and Pranay. To remind its real-life incidents, father Maruthi Rao incited the murder of his daughter Amrutha’s husband Pranay in Miryalaguda in 2018. Since then, this news of honor killing has become sensational across the Telugu states. The widowed daughter fought legally against her father Amrutha Rao till he died a suicidal death early this year.
After RGV announced this movie, a note on Amrutha’s name was floated on social media criticizing the director. It was even published in the main editions of several newspapers too. In the said letter, it was expressed that Amrutha felt like committing suicide hearing RGV’s announcement. Furthermore, the personal character of Ramu was also targeted in that viral note.
However, RGV expressed that he is obligated to respond irrespective of its source and made his points clear on the movie. ‘Whether Amrutha wrote it or some jobless over enthusiast wrote it, I felt obligated to respond to it to clarify the concerns in the minds of whoever is needlessly concerned about what I will show in MURDER.’ tweeted Ramu.
After a series of tweets, Ram GopalVarma finally clarified that he has the highest respect for people who endured tremendous trauma whether it’s Amrutha or anybody else. As Ramu sensed, the letter found out to be a fake one. It was not written by Amrutha but a person named PraneethYaron who is happened to be the director of ‘Sita on the Road’.
