Producer Allu Aravind along with MY HOME group Chairman Rameshwar Rao floated digital OTT platform ‘AHA’. The subscribers are increasing for all the OTT platforms due to the COVID 19 lockdown of theatres. Even Allu’s digital platform is also gradually getting the subscribers. But the feedback on this OTT platform by the viewers is not so encouraging.
Many are saying that the video streaming quality is not good. Moreover, few are also expressing that there is too much use of vulgar and abusive language in the content. So, the producer has decided to focus on AHA completely to develop it into a leading OTT platform in Telugu.
As a first step, it is reported that AlluAravind chose to cut down the adult content to alter the image of the OTT for good. Accordingly, he passed on instructions to his creative team not to entertain such content in the future. At the same time, he is roping in several Tollywood directors and writers to develop the quality content for AHA.
Simultaneously, he is also focusing on getting the leading actors and actresses to host the shows for the OTT. News is doing rounds that actress Tamannah is booked for talk show offering her the remuneration of 8 lakhs per episode. Director Anil Ravipudi is also said to be making a comedy web series for AHA. So, the producer who is known for meticulous planning of his projects is also reportedly wooing other producers like DilRaju and Suresh Babu to be the partners in AHA.
