Air Chief Marshal paid a visit to Ladakh for two days. RKS Bhaduria is the Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal. On Wednesday and Thursday, he visited Ladakh to give a look at the preparations being done by the IAF. This was done after the conflicts between the Indian and Chinese troops in which 20 Indian soldiers were killed in the Galwan Valley of Eastern Ladakh on Monday night.
The Indian Air Force Chief paid his visit to the air force base at Leh on Wednesday while he visited Srinagar air force base, the following day. Several airforce bases are operated by the IAF in Jammu & Kashmir. There are with Avantipora, Srinagar, and Leh. They operate fighter squadrons or fighter detachments at these places.
The Air Force Chief visited the airforce base to view the operational readiness of the platforms that have been shifted to the area. This has been done keeping in view the attacks from the Chinese counterparts along the LAC. The helicopters for the attack and the Indian Air Force fighter jets were also spotted over Leh. The IAF has recently attained Apache chopper. It was also spotted over the area. The Indian Air Force has also altered its critical frontline assets.
