Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on Sunday by committing suicide at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. The 34-year-old young and promising actor’s sudden demise has sent shockwaves not only in Bollywood but across the nation. The actor was reportedly hanged himself to death in Mont Blanc apartments on Bandra’s Carter road. This sad news on Sunday has left the entire nation in deep grief.
Sushant Singh who started acting in TV serials made his Bollywood debut through the film ‘Kai Po Che’ which released in 2013. Later, he was starred in several films like PK, Kedarnath, and Raabta. The actor will be remembered forever for his brilliant portrayal in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. His last film was Nitesh Tiwari’s 2019 film ‘Chhichhore’. Television viewers cannot easily forget Sushant’s performance in ‘Pavitra Rishta’ serial too.
Sushant was not only a fine actor, but he was also a brilliant student. He won National Olympiad in Physics and cleared as many as eleven Engineering entrance exams. But his sudden passion for acting has made him quit the studies during the third year of engineering. Since then, he joined theatre and subsequently started climbing the ladder of success in Bollywood without any godfather’s support.
Reports are doing rounds that Sushant was suffering from depression since a few months. The police are also said to have recovered the prescription and antidepressant pills from the actor’s residence. His former lady manager ‘Disha Salian’ also died committing suicide just a few days back on the 9th of June. Her death was also said to have left Sushant heartbroken.
Unfortunately, another star of Bollywood has vanished just like that leaving many in grief. Probably, the actor wouldn’t have taken the extreme step if he had realized how much love and confidence the nation had on him. Including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the condolence messages poured in from the celebrities and politicians across the country.

I am shocked by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family and fans. Om Shanti.’ Tweeted Modi on the death of the young talented actor. Condoling the death of Sushant, emotional Sehwag stated that life is fragile and appealed to be kind to everyone as we don’t know what one is going through.
