Modi Meets TDP MPs: An important turning point in Indian parliamentary politics was reached today when the NDA was able to elect the Speaker of the House. During this important election, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) garnered the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In order to show his appreciation, Modi personally met with each of the 16 TDP MPs after the election.
Modi had a friendly discussion with the MPs during the meeting and thanked them for their participation. He then expressed gratitude to Chandrababu Naidu for the TDP’s cooperation with the NDA’s initiatives.
