Super Star Rajinikanth has got a threat call on Thursday stating that a bomb was planted in his Poes Garden residence. Upon receiving this call, the police along with the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad(BDDS) immediately landed at the actor’s house. This news has created shockwaves among his fans making them worry about the star’s safety.

The bomb squad searched every inch of the residence to trace and defuse the bomb. But they couldn’t find any such thing. Finally, they came to the conclusion that it could be a hoax call. Reports say that Rajinikanth’s family did not allow the officials inside their house initially due to fear of COVID-19. But, finally, they let in the officers on duty who were present there just for his safety.

After concluding that it’s a hoax call, the police investigated it and found that the call was from Cuddalore. Immediately, the Chennai police contacted their counterparts in the District. To everyone’s utter surprise and shock, the caller found out to be a 13-year-old young boy studying the eighth standard in Nellikuppam Village.

Later it was discovered that the boy is suffering from mental issues. Hence, he was left alone after initial inquiry and subsequently scrutinizing his medical records. Meanwhile, the boy’s father has released a video conveying apology to the superstar and appealed him to forgive his child for the stupid act.
